"The Literati Awards" by Claire Epstein and Ian McWethy. This awards-style show features five famous literary characters up for the coveted "Best Literary Character of All Time." Nominees are Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Jay Gatsby (The Great Gatsby), Hester Prynne (The Scarlet Letter), Sherlock Holmes (various Sherlock Holmes stories), and Moby Dick from the Herman Melville book of the same name. The audience gets a chance to vote for the winner each night: Juliet won Friday night and Moby Dick won Saturday night.
"The Distracted Scholar's Guide to Literature and Drama" by Peter Bloedel. This fast-paced show provided the audience with a quick tour through the history of literature from Dante's Inferno to Frankenstein to Star Wars. Because it condensed the entire history into 30 minutes, some stories were a mash-up of various genres, such as the science-fiction retelling of The Wizard of Oz.
