The Junior Thespians Society is an honorary performing arts group at the middle school level. To qualify for induction into our troop, #88905, students earn points from their participation in ITMS productions. Those who qualify will be invited to the induction ceremony held at the end of the school year.
The perks of being a Junior Thespian are many. During the school year, the group goes on field trips to high schools for matinees, represents the theater department at pep assemblies, attends the Junior Thespian Festival, produces the Student Showcase in the spring, organizes the 8th grade Farewell event, collaborates on the Thespian banquet, as well as participates in other events.
After graduating 8th grade, Junior Thespians can take five points with them to high school, thereby only needing five more points of the required 10 to join the Thespian Society. For more information about the International Thespian Society, check out the link https://www.schooltheatre.org/home
