Reflection

In the beginning of the project, it was hard for my partner and I to make our models because we hardly knew the order of the planets, and the instructions confused us. However, we worked through it and brainstormed until we had a model we both agreed was good. As the project went on and we had to make more and more models it became much easier for us. We kept getting new information, and that made the tasks easier and easier. It was the most helpful when we were given the equations we needed and the information in a chart so that we could plug in the information and solve from there.

In this project, I think I was a good critical thinker and collaborator. I think I was a good critical thinker because I thought really hard about possible phenomena's we could use for our model five A from the data chart. I also had to decide what information would go best with our topics for each model. On top of that, I think had great collaboration skills because I encouraged my partner to help out on the models and let her do a lot of the work, whereas most of the time I like to be in control and do everything. I am most proud of myself for working on my collaboration skills because it was out of my comfort zone, and yet I still did it. However, there are still many things I can improve on. I think in the next project I will work on my character and communication skills. Character is a very important value to me. Making sure everyone around me feels comfortable and willing to share their ideas is a skill that is very important to me. I never want someone to feel like their idea is stupid, and they don't want to share it. I think I can always work on my character and next project I will work especially hard to do better at it. I also feel like I need to work on my communication. Communication goes both ways, expressing your ideas, and, listening to others ideas. Listening to detail and others ideas has always been a struggle for me because I can always see my vision so clear in my head I wouldn't want to mess it up. However, I strongly believe that I need to work harder on this skill. Next project I will try to put my ideas aside and really listen to what my team has to say so that we can all have a product we are happy with.

All in all, I think this project taught me more about myself then I expected. Not only that, but I also found the topic very mind-blowing. It was interesting to me to see just how little humans know about the infinite galaxy around us. I really enjoyed this project and I will work hard to improve the skills I want to work on next project.
