This was an ongoing assignment in which we watched a professional architect teach different types of technical drawings and techniques every week. Each week the drawings built on the previous week's work. Our job was to take notes and do our best to replicate his drawings. This was quite difficult, but I did learn a good amount about different types of perspective and leading lines. This type of drawing will come in useful as we continue work for our Capstone project and in future projects for blueprinting and planning.
Overall, one thing that I did well on during this project was working efficiently. These projects entail lots of drawing and research in a short amount of time. Without being on task and using my critical thinking I do not think I would have finished in time. Another thing that I did well on during this project was organizing my notes. By numbering and spacing my notes, it allowed me to better understand the topics and create a better outcome.
One thing I could have done better in this project if I had more time was to work with pencil instead of pen. This would have allowed me to work easier with the thickness and darkness of different lines. Another thing I could have done better was to double check the information I was writing down with other sources. By double checking information, I could be certain that the info was correct and I would have no worries about the factuality of my project.
