While the name may seem strange, Echinoderms are a group containing sea stars, brittle stars, urchins, and sea cucumbers. They are all known to have radial symmetry and very distinct anatomy. Many of these can be found on the seafloor or in the intertidal zone. Many of these species can reproduce asexually and regenerate limbs and tissue. Geologically, these organisms skeletons contribute to limestone formations throughout the world. In this unit, we got to dissect a starfish and make a mini poster. the starfish was very different from other organisms that we had dissected because of how its body layout was oriented.
Overall, one thing that I did well on during this project was working efficiently. These project entail lots of drawing and research in a very little amount of time. Without being on task and using my critical thinking I do not think I would have finished in time. Another thing that I did well on during this project was organizing my notes. By numbering and spacing my notes, it allowed me to better understand the topics and create a better outcome.
One thing I could have done better in this project if I had more time was to color my illustrations better. This would have made them look a little more realistic. Another thing I could have done better was to double check the information I was writing down with other sources. By double checking information, I could be certain that the info was correct and I would have no worries about the factuality of my project.
