Solve a World Problem Project

Contaminated Oceans

The issue of focus for this project was the polluted state of our oceans all accross the globe

Reasearch process~

Before any project could be started, our first task was to research and become well informed on the problem we chose. To do this, we first learned the way to search for the best sources possible. We then chose 3 articles and analyzed them to understand the information.

Engineering Design Cycle~

1. Identify the need: We decided that the issue we wanted to focus on was cleaner oceans

2. Reasearch the problem: We reasearched our topic using the method above

3. Develop possible solutions (brainstorm)

4. Select most promising solution

5. Construct a prototype

6. Test and evaluate prototype

7. Communicate design

8. Redesign

9. Repeat

*I was not able to be part of majority of this project because I was out recovering from knee surgery
