Below is the first ELA lesson I taught in fourth grade. Students were so excited to find facts about different animals, and to defend their opinions. It was great to have work on my model with the class, using their responses to build my example for them. I was originally nervous about not finding enough facts to use, and they were a great help!

At Mckinley, we have just started teaching with a hybrid model, back in person (4/12/21). This has been a challenge, but is also very interesting. Students are so different in person, and it is so interesting to see them interact with my directing teacher. I am looking forward to teaching more lessons solo!
