In photography, leading lines is type of composition where lines in the photo lead your eye across the picture. These lines can very defined or loose, but they still need to be visible for the composition to qualify as leading lines. For these photos, I controlled my light by positioning myself in places where the leading lines are very defined. In my opinion, the purpose of showing leading lines would be lost if I didn't do as such.
