In photography, filling the frame occurs when the focal point nearly fills the entire picture alone. Though very slight openings aren't going to disqualify a picture from classifying as filling the frame, the background cannot be prevalent as that does disqualify the picture from this status. I controlled my light in these photographs by adjusting my shutter speed depending on the amount of sun exposure in the photo. When the sun was beaming on the focal point, I had to significantly increase my shutter speed so the light could properly appear in the photo. When the sunlight was less direct, my shutter speed was lowered to compensate.
