Summary of running a sports and entertainment business:
Every key term I learned and every component of business has helped me understand how stadiums we see everyday function and run. There are so many different aspects to running a business that the people involved in doing so must have lots of knowledge and a very good understanding of the business. After going through this Sports and Entertainment course, I have learned as much as there is to learn about how stadiums function.
This screen recording tells of my overall experience in the virtual business website and running the simulations for each individual lesson. Each lesson (including ticket pricing, stadium staffing, ingress and egress, and more) provided me everything I needed to be well versed in each specific aspect of running a stadium business. I learned key terms, financials, and promotion ideas.
The Michigan Stadium is just one example of the many large sports stadiums in the world. There are lots of different aspects to running a business, especially with huge stadiums like this one. Parking, concessions, sponsorships, and promotion are just a few of the components that need to be taken into account in order to be successful in the sports and entertainment area and generate a revenue.
The ANZ Stadium in Australia is another example of a large stadium. Stadium managers must understand the concepts of running a large stadium in order to be successful in their business.
