I have the privilege to work for DoDEA Europe East District as an Elementary Science ISS in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Over the past 30 years, I have served as a K-6 classroom teacher, academically gifted teacher, math & science coach, district math & science administrator, and mathematics consultant for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. I am an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate educator who believes all children can achieve and thrive in a learning environment that is engaging, appropriate, and responsive to their unique needs and abilities. I specialize in science and mathematics standards and assessment; creating, planning, and facilitating professional development for teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders; program planning and implementation; and facilitating collaboration and consensus building.
