You can self-install printers using the Printer Logic software.

To install a new printer, you will need to use the Printer Installer. To access this software, follow the directions below.
Click the Start button -> scroll down and click on Printer Installer -> Add Printer
A new window will open, and you will need to expand to your Region -> Complex -> Site. Then you will be able to browse the printers that are available to you in your school.
Next, click on the printer you want to install, and then click OK. You can make it your default printer, by clicking the check box.
A pop-up will appear with the installation progress. This could take 1-2 minutes to complete.
You will receive a pop-up stating your installation is complete. Click OK.
