Chromebook information

DoDEA has implemented a 1:1 student to device ratio with Chromebooks issued to 3rd-12th grade students. Students will use Chromebooks as a primary computing and learning tool. Every Chromebook is bundled with a carrying sleeve and a charger.

 To maximize the instructional benefits of 1:1, each student will be assigned a device for the school year. Assigned devices will accompany students throughout the day and are expected to be taken home after school. 

Students will receive a device, charger, and protective case.

All devices will be barcoded, and this tag should not be removed.

Only DoDEA devices can be used at school or on the network.

Students and families should understand there is no expectation of privacy with respect to information stored on and/or accessed from the device. The device belongs to DoDEA, and appropriate district and school officials may monitor its use or access its content at any time. Inappropriate content will not be allowed on the device.
