For accountability purposes, parents/sponsors will need to complete Worksheet 4140.01-2 before their student receives a device. This worksheet documents the Device's Asset Identification and Serial Number. Devices are required to be inventoried annually and must be returned to the school prior to the summer recess or when families transfer from the school (PCS).
Before distribution, we will also ensure parents/sponsors have a signed Form 700 in their student's registration file (signed during registration).
Students and their parents/sponsors will also sign a Student Responsible Use Agreement before receiving a device.
The required paperwork will be distributed via email, Parent Info Sessions, NFTN (News From The Nest), and copies will be available in our main office.
Please return the Worksheet 4140.01-2 and the Student Responsible Use Agreement to ensure a seamless distribution process.
Once all documentation has been received (see above), students will receive their Chromebook.
At the beginning of each school year, Chromebook will be distributed during the week prior to students returning. To accommodate families who are unable to pick up a Chromebook during that week, we will also distribute Chromebooks during the first week of school.
More information regarding distribution at the beginning of the year and throughout the year (for students who start during the year) will be shared via Facebook, NFTN, and email.
All Chromebooks must be returned at the end of the school year (by 29 May for the annual inventory). Devices will be returned to the Administrative Officer, who will assess their physical condition at the time of return.
Chromebooks will be returned by grade level on specified dates. More information will be shared via email, Facebook, and NFTN.
