Hello everyone!

I have tired to continue the learning process under these interesting circumstances. Some ESOL students received packets, with grammar books included, on Friday before school let out. I only gave packets to those who are Level 1-3 ESOL. I would like those students to do 5 pages each day in the book they were working on at the time of the school closure. I did insert smart goal cards in the packet so that students can place an X or a check mark every time they complete 5 pages. I would like the X's and check marks to be initialed by an adult to verify that the mark really was put in when 5 pages were completed. The students will receive small rewards if a smart goal card has 20 X's or check marks. The students can show me their completed work when they return to school.

I have made a video showing the spelling words for the Week of March 23. I will be uploading that video soon. The video shows the new words and then I give the spelling test. The students will need a spelling paper or just a regular paper numbered 1-12. to take the test while looking at the video. All students from Grades 1-3 may like the video since it is geared to those grade levels.

I may contact students individually to check on their progress.

I really miss all the ESOL students and hope everybody remains well and continues to study hard and learn at home.

Here is a new spelling/grammar lesson for the Week of March 30-April 2. Practice with the flashcards first and then watch the video. This lesson is on MASS NOUNS. I hope you are all studying hard at home. Try to take your spelling test on Thursday and save it so you can show it to me either when you return to school or on "google meet".
