The Heroic Trixter

a comic by Kash Norden

PART TWO:  One day Trixter was saving the city, like usual, from just regular crimes and he was enjoying the attention of his fans. People wanted autographs from Trixter but all he knew was how to scribble so he took a marker and scribbled a somewhat letter like “T” and “X”. Trixter was about to go home, when a loud crash came from the narrow city's distance. Downtown people ran and were yelling “The world is ending!” When all of a sudden a loud screech of anger powered over the humans. People ran faster but Trixter was curious like always and ran into the loud action. Trixter started to get to the end of the swarm of people and saw the biggest lizard he ever saw in the world. Right before his eyes he saw an angry lizard that was breaking the city into pieces only with some stomps and chomps. He had to do something about this so he chose to fight. Trixter sprung up and hit the lizard with a punch but the lizard looked unfazed. He hit him with a combo of a kick and a tail whip, but the lizard still looked not bothered but instead got more angry. The lizard roared at Trixter and was going to stomp on Trixter, but he dodged just in time. Trixter looked up at the big lizard and upper cut him while giving a memory he won’t forget.

PART ONE:  Once upon time there was a monkey named Trixter, he was out of the ordinary of his fellow friends. He is so-called the curious, queer one of the bunch.  His attention led him to a city by the Congo Basin jungle. Kisangani is a city filled with joy and new things every day. Trixter likes new things so he starts to copy what humans do from a distance. The other monkeys think he is going bananas, so they leave him alone because they don't want to be seen with a crazy monkey. One day Trixter wanted to get closer to show his talents to the other monkeys, but they just walked away, so he looked towards the city and wanted to show the humans there his talent. Trixter grabbed his pants and slapped his mask on with a perfect bow tie he did himself.  He remembered a cartoon he saw one day that fought evil and saved the good, so he knew what he wanted to do, he wanted to become a hero. He fought crime all throughout the city as well as keeping his identity hidden because that is what heroes do. Trixter loved what he was doing, even the other monkeys were shocked that he didn't get caught yet from humans. Trixter was enjoying his time in Kisangani, but when time flies, even  a hero must have a villain.

PART THREE:  It was an ordinary day of Trixter wandering the city looking for new fun. He went down and up the city and was asked for autographs on his way. Trixter did tricks downtown and fans cheered at him for his heroicness. Trixter was offered a sloppy cookie but he politely declined because he preferred guava from his hometown. Then Trixter started to reach the end of the crowd full of attention that tried to follow. Trixter swinged in, on a vine to the jungle but before he felt a weird tension flow over him and was very quiet. In his mind “it was never quiet here, never has so why is it now.” Trixter walked in the jungle and he felt uneasy when he took his steps in his home. He looked around and saw what he thought he wouldn’t ever see is humans taking his dear friends out of Congo Basin Jungle. The only thing on his mind was how was he going to get his friends back? Well he came with a solution and he blasted at the speed of light and jumped on the camouflaged jeep. “Only took a little parkour” Trixter whispers when the jeep starts to drive out of the jungle to a new place Trixter hasn't seen. Now Trixter is going to wish he hadn't seen the place he was about to enter.
