ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Han Niu, I'm a sixth grade DATA student at Ed White Middle School.
The reason I'm in the DATA program is because I like the idea of designing and programming my own games, sculptures, art, etc. Imagine going to a school where you get to learn about vector art, how to use Adobe apps, and even how to stay safe online. DATA has really made school fun for me, I enjoy coming to school every day knowing that we'll be learning about the things that I actually like.
ABOUT DATA
DATA is a magnet program at Ed White Middle School. DATA stands for Design and Technology Academy. There are all types of classes to go to where Ed White and DATA students can collaborate such as orchestra, band, choir, and art. DATA students also have 2 technology classes, multimedia and tech apps. The DATA program doesn't only end at 8th grade, it continues on to high schools such as Roosevelt. If you're in DATA in 6th through 8th grade, you get an automatic enrollment into a highschool, which is pretty cool.
