In a commonplace environment at an unexpected hour:

Do we perceive beauty? I think sometimes we can perceive beauty but it depends on other distractions and how focused you are on something else.

Do we stop to appreciate it? I think even if we perceive or notice beauty out in public randomly most people still probably wont stop to take it in due to most people having somewhere to go for the reason of being out.

Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context? aI think if we aren't looking for talent we wont recognize it as well as we would if it was a reason for what we were looking for.

If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing? I think lots of people have a lot of talent which is why many people go out to show their talents trying to get noticed but if it's not what people are looking for it'll go unnoticed.

How can you apply what you READ today to your own feature story when you write it after Christmas? I can give information and explain how the event started or how things were going before the event/situation occured.
