The team has stated that they will no longer play as long as Rubiales is currently in charge as Hermoso did not consent to the kiss. Rubiales is currently suspended for 90 days pending disciplinary proceedings opened, but the president of Spain's women's league said she believed it was the end of his career in soccer.
