Beware The Wolf
Don't judge someone just by the things you hear about them.
There is a little girl who is constantly told to keep her distance from the wolves. It turned out the wolves were actually nice and they even lets the girl watch a film with them.
There aren't really any symbols used to make a point to anything in the film
The little girl and the wolves. They have interactions through the girl being told to stay away and at the end when they are together and the wolves just had a bad rep and ended up being nice.
a. The lighting was dark, it gave the film scary vibe to it like a horror.
b. There aren't too many added sound effects outside of the music and the girl making noises. The music added some suspense.
c. The editing was the main contributor because the film is animated so it had to be edited to create the movie frame by frame.
d. There weren't really any cut aways until the end when the girl goes to the house and the wolves are in the bed and it cuts to the film and then back to the wolves now with the girl in the bed as well.
e. There was just 2 transitions really and it was just to show the girl going into the woods and then into the house.
The Wait
Make the best of a bad situation.
While in a pandemic and on lockdown, the man is making food in his apartment and while he is waiting he gets bored. He was a drummer and to pass the time he starts hitting the table with his chop sticks and imagines himself playing.
There aren't really any symbols/
The only character is the man, and there is someone he is talking to on the phone for like 10 seconds.
a. The light is shining in the apartment and then when he imagines himself playing, the room goes dark and there's a spotlight over him.
b. There is the beeping of the microwave, and when the clock starts ticking it reminds him of the drums. He starts hitting the table making noise and then him on a drum kit making a song happens.
c. There wasn't really much editing, just moving from scene to scene.
d. The cut from him hitting his table with chopsticks then him on the drums was cool. It was also cool when the microwave beeped and his food was done brining him back to reality.
e. The transition from him at his dinner table then on to a drum set was really the only transition and I thought it was cool showing where he wants to be and how to pass the time.
