Stoughton Area School District Library Plan

Using the Future Ready Librarians Framework as a guide, the Stoughton Area School District Library Media Specialists have created a Library Plan as required by the Wisconsin Administrative Code  PI 8.01 (2)(h). The Library Plan will be revisited every three years.

The Future Ready Librarian Framework is made up of focus areas, or "wedges," each of which centers around learner-centered literacy. To create the Library Plan, the district's Library Media Specialists assessed each of the wedges to determine areas of strength as well as areas of growth. We then created goals and action items around two areas of focus for this three-year cycle.

The SASD School Board approved this plan on May 5, 2025.
