Welcome to 6-8th grade Science. I am your new Science teacher, Mr. Kempfer.  I have been a teacher for 23+ years in areas such as science, engineering and woodshop! UW Madison Science Immersion Day Videos - Stone Bank students were selected to be a part of UW Madison's Science immersion day! We participated in 2 events, Sustainable Energy and a Stem Cell simulation.

What we have been up to lately...

6th grade--> February - We are learning about weather, and humans' impact on our environment.

7th grade--> February - Astronomy is the word! Galaxies, life cycle of stars and our own Solar System - all topics we are exploring!

8th grade--> February - From elements to atoms, molecules to compounds - welcome to the periodic table and chemistry!

What we are up to next!

6th Grade

Our last 2 units of the year include matter (atoms and stuff) and living things - biology!

7th Grade

Cells and Genetics will wrap up the 7th grade science curriculum this year!

8th Grade

Ecology and the human body are the final 2 units for our 8th grade students.
