St. Martha Catholic School – 5th Grade Physical Education & Health Curriculum
At St. Martha Catholic School, we recognize the critical role physical activity plays in the development and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. Our 5th Grade Physical Education program is designed to provide engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support the first stages of psychomotor development in our students.
Through dynamic, hands-on activities, students will explore and refine movement skills, develop body control, and strengthen their understanding of physical fitness and health. They will practice combining locomotor and manipulative skills in increasingly complex ways, building both gross and fine motor abilities along with perceptual awareness.
