"Having a sense of belonging and connectedness can significantly impact upon students’ wellbeing and academic performance. In these unprecedented times, when face-to-face connectedness is reduced or challenged, connecting online can not only help students maintain a sense of connectedness and belonging, but it can also foster social connection and friendship formation, and in turn, ensure a greater sense of wellbeing."

The wellbeing of students undertaking off-campus learning is important and here are some guidelines to support you.
Stick to an established routine
Start the day at the usual time and with the usual routines such as getting dressed, eating breakfast, walking the dog etc. Be ready to start the School day at 8.30am.
Stay active!
Continue to engage in physical activity while undertaking learning at home, as this is important for the body and the mind. Breaking up long periods of sitting assists your circulatory system and helps move the oxygen in your body while also removing waste products and carbon dioxide in your veins.
If you can, get outside for a run or a brisk walk with your dog, as this is a great way to exercise and get some fresh air.
Sleep!
Sleep is our secret weapon for success, and this is the perfect time to implement some good sleep practices (aim for 8 hours per night as a minimum).
