After a busy term of learning, both at school and at home, we’re all ready for a change. Perhaps the change you’re having wasn’t the kind you were expecting. What might you do at home with some of the extra time you now have? Here are some ideas of projects with which you could engage:

Open choice projects and ideas
Research an animal of your choice and prepare a presentation that you could share with family and/or friends
Write and present a speech or play
Invent your own board game to share with the family
Improve your fitness - see how far you can run and increase the distance daily
Publish a family newsletter weekly or monthly. Include crosswords, quizzes and ‘press releases’
Compile a daily photo journal complete with a paragraph for each day (you might share this with your children one day!)
Nature Project - make an artwork from natural materials
Recycling Project - how much does your waste does your household generate per week?
Create a video to share with your grandparents
Try some healthy no-bake cooking
