A good book and your imagination can take you somewhere far, far away, when you’re stuck at home!
The Premier’s Reading Challenge (PRC) provides a wide range of book choices over a variety of genres to explore.
Reading is good for your learning!
It’s like installing new software into your brains and automatically improves your writing ability. Just by reading, you undertake a writing lesson, without even realising it.
When you are reading, you are subconsciously noticing how to spell, punctuate, use proper grammar and structure a sentence and paragraph.
When staying at home, how can you choose books?
Read the books you already have at home (or borrow from your friend’s book collections) and check if they’re on the PRC list OR borrow an eBook from the PRC lists.
