We each created a digital book to show our understanding of conservation and restoration of Atlantic salmon or Brown Trout.
The digital book also gave information of their life cycle and why Atlantic salmon is an important Keystone species.

Tried different colours and also for background-watercolour using droplets-used greens and blues for water and algae
Used different paper cut outs for shape of fish. Water colour background.
Drew outline of fish painted printed newspaper- a report of native Alaskans and concern about their wild fish populations. Added background water colour and painted seagrass.
We all participated in the Global competition River of Words. This competition was to create awareness about our watersheds and its importance to our ecosystems, no matter where you are.
Used cut out pieces of a map where salmon are found and painted salmon and background using water colours.
Used block printing technique of fish I cut out then digital art to create a collage of different colours of fish swimming together.
Used string, mesh and buttons to give my fish art more texture and used tones of blue paint.
I enjoyed trying out different collage techniques using paper cut outs and screen printing techniques.
I wrote a Haiku for this pieces.
