STEAM down the River

We started working on the Blue School project at the beginning of this school year. The objective of this project is to introduce some of the issues associated with marine pollution and what happens in our city, Milan, that contributes to this.

As part of our school education, we want to help build a generation that is more aware of how we can reduce the problems we have on our Earth. Rather than be afraid of global warming, pollution, extinction, and other environmental issues, we want to propose solutions, that are also simple, to protect our planet and have a healthier, happier life for all, including all the living things that share this world with us.

STEAM down the River

Our project is part of the STEAM down the River theme that our sister school, Caviglia, started last year.

For this project, we explore our aquatic environments like the rivers, lakes and canals near and in our city that drain into the sea.

Each STEAM class this year will raise awareness to help our school community and neighbourhood build a better future for our planet and encourage each other to have a positive impact on it.

Year 9 STEAM class project is focusing on Aquatic Ecosystems and human impacts on land and aquatic environments
