Meet our team!
At Colonna, we are a small group of 4 students. Also, we love STEAM and our many projects made this wonderful subject. Finally, we hope that you enjoy looking through the work that we have worked so hard for and for some collaborated with Y9 students from our sister school, Caviglia.
This year there are 14 students in STEAM at Caviglia and it has been fun working together and doing peer review of each others' project work across campus.

For our final year project we are setting up a hydroponics system in our school grounds and starting to prepare our plants.
We have been researching which vegetables to grow best in less time possible so we can enjoy them for our school lunch!

We first looked at aquaponics- a system that requires fish to grow plants or vegetables. This was harder to manage as we are not at school during the breaks.
We came up with our own design ideas for this using 3D modelling.
