Workforce reliability is often measured through attendance metrics, turnover rates, and productivity benchmarks. Rarely is it examined through the lens of structural support. This action research project explores whether onsite childcare can serve as a strategic lever in redefining workforce reliability within production-dependent industries.
Drawing from employee perspectives, this study investigates how childcare access intersects with absenteeism, retention, burnout, and workplace culture. This research investigates the feasibility of on-site childcare and whether it can function as infrastructure to shape operational continuity and organizational equity.
