Vocabulary:

sequence - events arranged in a specific order, from beginning to end
algorithm - a list of steps to finish a task
loops - to repeat a set of instructions
events - a set of instructions that cause an action to occur.
Challenge 1:
Can you follow my Algorithm and DRAW exactly what you hear on your paper?

Does your Character look like mine?
What was the same? Different?
Why were they different?
How could we make them more similar or exactly the same?
What type of words should we use in our algorithms?
Day 2:
Crazy Winter/Christmas Crazy Character Challenge
Challenge 2:
Today you are going to create your OWN Winter/Christmas Crazy Character.
You will have 5 steps that you can write for someone to follow to draw your crazy character.
Watch how I Model how to do this.
YOUR TURN
NOW You create your Crazy Character.
Then have a Friend follow your Algorithm.
If the Character DOESN'T turn out the way you want it too, GO BACK and adjust your Algorithm before you have a 2nd Friend follow the Algorithm.

How did you plan your algorithm when you first wrote it down?
How did your algorithm change after your first friend followed it?
What types of words did you have to add to your algorithm to make it more precise?
