a mind map is an easy way to get the information in and out of your brain
it is quick and effective it uses colourers, lines and pictures (if you would like)

you might have "modern family" in the middle of the page
you would then have a different coloured line with the name of each sub family group coming from the middle !

some times in class we can get overwhelmed when taking notes, It can be a good study method, come home and condense the notes, neatly onto one page. for some people mind mapping or sketch's notes is helpful. for other words and notes is easier .
