Holly left St .Jo’s and went to Goldsmith’s University in London to study English Literature where as well as running a pub, playing in bands and heading the Goldsmith’s Cheese Society, achieved a 2:1. After university, Holly has built a career in Public Relations, and is now an Account Director at Propeller Public Relations in London. She works with the likes of Google and Pearl & Dean. She continues to write poetry, play in bands and build on her incredible encyclopedic knowledge of music. She would have made John Peel look like an amateur!
I’ve been a frustrated session guitarist since leaving St. Jo’s. I followed the other interest in my life and went to Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh to study Business & Finance and somehow, which might amaze lots of our old teachers, I obtained a First Class degree. I have spent the time since university working in asset management and am now Vice President for T.Rowe Price Investment Management, a USA based asset manager. Before lockdown I’d spend my time between the City and Denmark Street, the Guitar Mecca of London.
Holly and I met at St. Jo’s, on a School trip to Shakespeare’s Globe. We had our first kiss in the music block and are getting married next April. We were supposed to be marrying this August, but COV-19 put paid to that!
