English:
1. Reading
Continue to read and do AR quizzes. Hit for 20 minutes minimum each day.
2. Narrative (Story) Writing
i) Monday – Characters – Describe the main character/characters.
ii) Tuesday – Setting – Describe where your story will take place. Be as detailed as possible.
iii) Wednesday – Plot – Write a brief beginning, middle & end. Bullet points could do here.
iv) Thursday – First Draft – Write the first draft of your story and ask somebody to read it and give feedback.
v) Friday – Finished Story – Write your finished story taking into account the feedback you received.

Continue doing one page from your handwriting book each day until you finish the book. You can use your cartridge pen if you want.

Begin a new week doing one each day Mon to Thurs + next Friday test. Answers are available on CJFallon and our class webpage for self correction.

The Environment
Continuing with last week’s topic of the environment, I want you to create a mini comic book based around the environment. It could be a superhero comic for example where the superhero is fighting the litterbugs. Get create and have fun with this activity. I attached a comic template and it is also on our class web page but feel free to deign your own template...using a ruler of course.
P.E.
Sports Day
Keeping sports day in mind, I want you to creative a game/activity that you think every girl in class could complete at home. If you could send me on some of your ideas then I will put together a mini sports day for our class for June.
Continue our fitness routine...
10 push-ups, 10 sit ups, 10 squats, 10 lunges, 10 second plank, 10 high knee jumps, 10 second sprinting on the spot.
Sustained Running – Try to build up your fitness by running without stopping each day e.g. 5 mins on Monday, 7 mins Tuesday etc. You can set the length of time yourself.

Art
Gather together 15 things that you are grateful for and that have helped you to feel good over the past few weeks. You can arrange them creatively for a photo, draw them or do both.
