Our assignment was to create a podcast that enticed our classmates to read the book Handmaid's Tale by introducing but not spoiling the novel. This was for our Honors English 11 class. We spent about four hours on this project, over four days, creating it by writing a script, recording audio clips, and editing them together (and adding sound effects) with WeVideo.

We created this podcast to ultimately advertise the novel, The Handmaid's Tale to our class. Using my phone as our microphone and iMovie to edit the recording, we carried a conversation including a summary, key parts, and characters from the novel. This project took about 5 hours, including 2 in-class. Creating an interactive graphic was an additional step I took to elevate our podcast from the rest of the class.
