I used Stop Motion Studio (an app you can get on your phone) to animate it and Adobe After Effects for the effects like the explosions. It took me around 30 hours to complete (including figuring out how to use After Effects).

This is an animation presenting a new housing system called Blocks that represents a radical advancement in civilization. For my AP Design sustained investigation, I explore the question of how do new advancements spread in a society? To explore this idea, I use Blocks as an example of one of those advancements. This video explore the conceptual side of Blocks. It shows the expansive uses and modularity. I created all the animations in a 3D program, Blender, and edited the video through iMovie. It took me about 15 hours.
