For this project, we were required to create a Book Jacket Design that was to go on our sketchbooks in Adobe Illustrator. I spent a few hours conceptualizing my design, as well as choosing colors and titles. I landed on the title "Ars Longa Vita Brevis," which is a latin phrase that translates into Art is long, Life is Short. I chose this phrase because I approached my book design as if it were an autobiography, depicted through the illustrations and sketches in my personal sketchbook. Ars Longa Vita Brevis really stuck with me—it almost felt like a mission statement. The actual production of the piece did not take that long; it was really a matter of being nit-picky and focusing on the small details.
Bridget Confer – Oat Milk Chocolate Bar Wrapper

I used Adobe Illustrator to make it and used Adobe Illustrator tools. The assignment was to make a Chocolate Wrapper mock-up, we were given a lot of creative control. It took about 5-6 hours total. I also entered it in the Scholastic Art Awards and got an honorable mention.

I created this project using Adobe Illustrator. This Assignment was to make a choice piece during the lockdown. This project took me 3 hours.
Isaac Greene – Light on the Wall

I designed 4 graffiti tags of my friends names and initials traced them into adobe illustrator arranged them on a brick wall and designed a gif of a flickering light in the style of an old burning out back alley light struggling to stay on.

This piece is a part of my 15 piece AP portfolio called Ghost Kid. My portfolio focuses on children's interaction with the paranormal: how it effects them then, now, and in the future as well as those around them. This particular piece explores children's oblivious view of death and therefore their lack of reaction to it. Each piece takes around 5-6 hours but this one came in at about 8-9 hours (I'm not entirely sure I don't time my pieces.) I used AutoDesk SketchBook and a XL Wacom Intuos Pro drawing tablet for my Ghost Kid pieces.

For this piece I used a computer program called Gimp to create an office space for a Building. I used images from the internet to design a room. Painting the walls, manipulating space, designing furniture, all to fit into one room that could be used in a office. I was playing with the idea of an interior designer's skills into making my own place.
