St James MASKquerade of Brighton
Welcome to the St James MASKquerade
As you are aware all adults and children 12 years and older in Victoria are required to wear a mask to keep us safe a and healthy during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The teacher's have all been wearing masks, but would love to be wearing masks decorated by the students.
Earlier in the week the students learning onsite had a special preview of the St James MASKquerade of Brighton. Some of the students have already submitted their designs.

Name of mask: Sunflower
Design: Mr Flanagan is a happy and joyful person and he's as kind as a sunflower and he walks around with his sunflower badge, so a sunflower is perfect for him.

Design: “The colours are nice and pretty like when the sun goes down and the sky changes at sunset and I think Ange would like that too.”

St James MASKquerade of Brighton (Designing Information)
Instructions: Draw your pattern / design / logo / picture etc. inside of the mask template on one side of the mask. On the other side write the name of the staff member. Please do not draw where it says SEAM, as this will not be seen.
Once a fortnight a staff member’s name will be drawn from a hat. The name will appear on the portal and from that time onwards you will be able to design. Once your entry is complete, take a photo and share your design via email.
Entries will need to be submitted by the due date by email to Miss Corio ccorio@stjamesbrighton.catholic.edu.au
Please make sure you include SJ Mask and the staff members name in the subject of your email.
The winning entry will then be transferred onto a mask.
Your entry will be added to the St James ‘MASK’ Hall of Fame on the School Portal and will be worn by the winning teacher.

When submitting your entry you will need include the following;
Your name
Grade
A name for your mask
2-3 sentences about your mask,why you chose this design, your inspiration, a description etc (including the staff member's name)
