Download the latest Device Setup Tool:
Install the Device Setup Tool for your preferred computer platform
Log in to the Device Setup Tool using your ManageXR account email and password. You can use the tool without logging in if you have a Registration Code. Learn more about using Registration codes here.
The ManageXR login screen. If you don't have an account yet, go to the ManageXR website to register a new account.
Make sure your Meta Quest 2 headset is prepared for registration, which requires Developer Mode to be enabled on the device. Go here for for more info on that process.
Make sure the headset is powered on and connect it to the computer via a USB cable.
The headset will show up in the Device Setup Tool. Ensure it's status reads "Ready For Install." If it doesn't, refresh the device in the device setup tool. If you are continuing to experience problems with the device's status, go here for more information on resolving the issue.
Additionally, you may need to put on the headset while it's plugged into the computer to ensure there's not a permissions dialog box waiting for you to respond to in the virtual space.
Select the device's target Configuration. If you don't have one or have not set up Configurations, don't worry. You will have an opportunity to assign one to the device later. For more information on Configurations, go here.
Optionally, give the device a name.
Click "Install." The process may take a few moments to complete. If you have the volume up on the headset, you may hear some subtle clicking sounds of the automated process.
You can set a target Configuration and rename the device from the Device Tool.
Once the ManageXR installation process is complete, you will be notified here.
