Kiosk Mode puts a device into a focused and content-restricted state. Kiosk Mode allows the experience in the device to be limited to a specific app or collection of apps or even force launch a singular app upon the device powering on. Kiosk Mode also allows the 'home' environment to be branded with a custom background image and menu colors.
Navigate to the Configurations tab.
Select the Configuration which you would like to implement Kiosk Mode.
Click on 'Device Experience' in the list below the Configuration name.
Here, you can set a number of options:
(A) Set the 'Home Environment' experience (the standard device home, auto launch into a particular app, or a custom home screen).
(B) Fine tune the Kiosk experience, including:
Choose which apps will appear in the home menu from a list of those available inside this particular Configuration.
Choose which system services will be available to the user, including WiFi settings, casting to a TV, and other admin settings.
Set the logo and environment art for the home screen.
Set menu colors
Toggle a custom Shortcut menu when the user presses the Home button on their controller
Once all the settings are complete, click 'Save Changes' and Kiosk Mode will be deployed to the devices that this Configuration is assigned to.
Kiosk Mode provides for a focused experience and restricts users from accessing unauthorized content while using the device.
