Lauro "Larry" Alcala

Alcala’s work was known for humor and displaying simplicity, conveying deep meaning whilst giving a free interpretation of his works. Introducing the first college degree course in Commercial design in the Philippines, he made art more accessible to the public and created more outlets of training for jobs that require illustrators.
