The CYO is committed to providing a ministry of information that helps bring youth to their full human potential. The CYO provides opportunities for young people to develop strong moral character, self-esteem and leadership qualities through activities of a social, educational, recreational and athletic nature.

ALL CYO VOLUNTEERS AND PAID STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING

The Archdiocese of Indianapolis requires that everyone who has regular contact with children in church ministry must participate in a safe environment training program called Safe Parish. Volunteers must also sign a Code of Conduct.

This requirement is part of the Archdiocese efforts in providing a safe environment for the children who participate in all of the various ministries of the church.

The Safe Parish program is completed online. www.archindysafeparish.org A background check must also be done. The cost for that is $7.00.
