Foundations of Coaching in Early Childhood: Observation (Chapter 3)
The Environmental Rating Scales (ERS), including:
a. Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS-3) is designed to assess group programs for children from birth to 3 years of age.
b. Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS-3) is to be used in an early child care setting with preschool-kindergarten aged children from 3 through 5 years of age.
c. Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale (FCCERS-3) is to be used to assess family child care programs conducted in a provider’s home with children from birth through 12 years of age.
