Fixed Cost Allocations:

The Office of Information Technology is predominantly funded through reappropriated funds. Agencies receive direct appropriations within their payments to OIT lines in the Long Bill, and OIT bills agencies each month for services provided. Many services are billed per unit each month (per server, per hour, etc) based on agency consumption each month, but for any resources at OIT that are not easily assigned to a “per unit” billing method,those costs must still be recovered through agency billing. OIT utilizes fixed cost allocations, billed 1/12th each month, in order to fund the following areas: 6900 Administration, 6900-U OIT Use of OIT Services, 2780 Enterprise Practice Leads (Guilds), 2770 Digital and Delivery shared costs, 6051 Infrastructure shared costs, 3900 State Employee Delivery, 2453 Enterprise Service Desk / Deskside, 2274 Data, 4102 MyColorado, 3151 IT Security, 3162 Meet the Current Threat, 2705 Human Resources Information Systems, 3103 CSN Core, 3109 Agency LAN Support, 2991 Application Refresh and Consolidation
