This Update Log serves to provide our constituents with a centralized location to view current and upcoming updates to OAHP policies and procedures, as well as guidance, templates, and other important announcements. Please visit this page regularly, as we will post updates here that may affect your interactions with our office.
OAHP staff have been working with History Colorado's Accessibility Program Manager, Katrina Lee, to develop a working guide to make your digital materials as accessible as possible when submitting to our office. You may direct technical accessibility questions to katrina.lee@state.co.us.
Please visit our Accessibility Guide for more details.
The OAHP is collecting data through a formal online survey to assist with forthcoming updates to our suite of Inventory forms. This survey will be available to collect feedback through Friday, April 25th.
We highly encourage you to complete this survey so that we can systematically collect your feedback and use that data to inform revisions - there is a save function so that you can come back to the survey and complete it at your leisure. Please feel free to share the survey link widely with your networks who use our suite of Inventory forms so that their feedback can be captured as well.
Please direct any questions about the survey or its content to OAHP's Director of Information Management (erin.bornemann@state.co.us). Thank you in advance for your participation!
As of September 1, 2024, all requests for site and document numbers must be made through the online Number Request Form. Please refer to our Number Request page for more information. Direct questions you may have to hc_filesearch@state.co.us.
Beginning July 1, 2024, the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (OAHP) will no longer accept requests for services (e.g., File Search, Reproduction, and Data Management Area GIS Clip requests) on the File Access Request Form. All requests for services must be made through the new online service request form - Data Access Request Form. Please refer to our Services page for more information. Direct questions you may have to hc_filesearch@state.co.us.
The Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation is committed to providing equitable services to its diverse constituents. Please read more here about our efforts to meet Colorado's recent legislative requirements for digital Accessibility and how this legislation may affect digital submissions received by our office after July 1, 2024.
