Chapter 2: Licensure Requirements

Chapter 2, formerly known as the A Rules, describes the licensure requirements for Brokers. This chapter specifies the pre-licensing education, examination, and experience requirements for each level of licensure. Previously, only the experience requirements for Employing Brokers were codified in Rule A-27. This chapter also codifies the Colorado Broker License Application Grid, which is a substantial and informative modification to the rules. Overall, Chapter 2 aims to organize the licensure requirements for each license level in a more user-friendly format for applicants seeking or upgrading a real estate license.
