Chapter 1: Definitions

Chapter 1 allows for the consolidation of common defined terms that relate to the licensing and enforcement of Brokers. Several statutory defined terms and Commission Position Statement 45 were codified into regulation; some previously codified terms were relocated to Chapter 1; and some new defined terms were also added. Chapter 1 strives to make the interpretation of the regulations easier and reduces any potential risks of ambiguity.
