Important Definitions
Allowable - Goods or services that are allowed to be charged to a certain grant.
Contract Monitoring -The process of monitoring the progress of the contract and deliverable.
Grant - An allocation of funds given to a specific agency to do specific tasks.
LPHAs - Local Public Health Agencies.
NOA - The Notice of Award, is a contractual document outlining the details of the funds such as what is allowed, reporting deadlines, etc.
Procurement - Acquiring good or services.
Purchase Orders (POs) - A commitment document that encumbers funds and outlines work.
SOW - The Scope of Work is a contractual document outlining what the sub-recipient will do with the funds allocated.
Tribes -Tribes refers to either of the sovereign Tribal governments in the state of Colorado.
Unallowable - Good or services that are not allowed to be charged to a certain grant.
