Hello Starpoint families, 

My name is Grace Loughran, and I am so excited to be joining the Regan Intermediate team as a Physical Education teacher! I graduated from Canisius University in December 2025, and this will be my first year teaching. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and become a part of such a wonderful school community.

One of the things I am most passionate about is helping students develop a positive relationship with physical activity. My goal is to create experiences that are fun, meaningful, and engaging so that students feel confident being active both inside and outside of school. I believe that physical education is about much more than movement, it is about building healthy habits, developing confidence, and helping every child discover that being active can be enjoyable.

A little about me, I grew up playing both soccer and lacrosse and still love staying active today. I enjoy spending time outdoors, participating in group fitness activities, traveling to new countries and places, and approaching each day with a positive attitude. I am excited to bring that enthusiasm into my classroom and encourage students to try new things, challenge themselves, and celebrate their successes.

I look forward to being active with your students and creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where all learners can succeed. My hope is that every student leaves physical education feeling valued, encouraged, and excited to keep their bodies healthy and active.
