Executives from around the world attend SEP, and we strongly recommend you prepare for the unlikely event that you will need medical assistance during your time on campus. The SEP fee does not include medical, surgical or hospital coverage. Medical needs while visiting the United States (US) can be expensive without insurance coverage. Most international insurance is not accepted by US medical providers. We encourage you to review your medical insurance coverage and prepare for any potential need for medical care by reviewing the medical resources under Insurance.
In our pre-program survey we will ask for your arrival information. This information will be helpful for our team to prepare to welcome you to Stanford.
A pre-program questionnaire will be sent to you in April.
SEP is a residential program. All of your classmates will be living on campus during the program, so planning your stay will be an important part of the SEP experience. Check-in will be available on Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21. Please be sure to review the residential housing information under Resident Accommodations.
Review your transportation options to and from Stanford University before you land for a seamless arrival. Check out our transportation information under Transportation. The drop-off/pick-up location is the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) Residences: 680 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305.
Please read the Stanford University and Stanford GSB policies under Stanford Policies and Classroom Expectations prior to your arrival on campus.
Program onboarding will take place on Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21. Staff will provide you with course materials, set up your course app, provide you with the iPad you will use during SEP, and help you with other questions or needs you may have. Program onboarding is separate from Residential Check-In. A link to register for program onboarding will be posted in early spring 2024. For more details about this process, you may review the resources under Onboarding.
(Complete in May 2025 - specific deadlines will be shared with account setup information)
1) SUNET ID
You will receive instructions by email from the team to setup a Stanford University Network Identification (SUNet ID) in early May. A SUNet ID is a unique Stanford University account name assigned to you. Learn more details under SUNet ID.
2) GSB Alumni Email Address
In June, you will receive an email with instructions and a unique link to set up your Stanford GSB alumni account and Stanford GSB alumni email address from the GSB Alumni Relations Team.
As part of the SEP program, you become part of the Stanford GSB alumni network. The network is over 29,000 strong and growing, with around 9,000 alumni who live outside the United States.
